I love it when people do a nice thing for me unexpectedly.

Like how did my roommate know I wanted a beer tonight? I've been stressed out like crazy this week, and I come home tonight thinking, "Man, all I want is a Newcastle." And he comes home with a bottle!!

I have gotten into the custom of buying a bouquet of flowers from the Civic Center farmer's market every other week. It's a small investment ($3) but I really love the idea of filling my home with plants and flowers.

It's the small things that bring me happiness.
